Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Training Courseware Sales Professional. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in successfully selling training solutions to one or more of the following organization types in the United States & Canada:

  • Corporate L&D Teams
  • Commercial Training Providers
  • Academic Institutions’ professional training organizations and Community Colleges.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales: Sell a full range of Logical Operations and partner products and services to and through the training delivery partners in the United States and Canada.

Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to promote and sell our IT training courseware and related products to training providers.

Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, especially in the field of emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

New Business Development: Recruit and enable new delivery partners. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective training providers, understanding their needs and proposing training solutions.

Product Presentation: Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our courseware, showcasing its value and relevance to the IT training programs.

Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to potential clients, outlining the benefits and ROI of integrating our courseware into their training curricula.

Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment in promoting, enhancing, and delivering our training solutions.

Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts using CRM systems. Generate regular reports on sales performance and market insights.

Meet and exceed revenue/quota goals.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales within the IT training or education sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. A good storyteller who can bring a broad portfolio to life.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Take responsibility for your book of business and with a self-motivating ability to work independently with an entrepreneurial flare while complying with corporate policies and guidelines, using negotiation skills, managing multiple accounts and priorities, and meeting sales targets within specified timelines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred, but a demonstrated track record of succeeding in a sales-oriented role will be equally valued.
  • Experience in B2B sales and channel sales preferably within the IT training or education sector in North America.
  • General knowledge of the IT training and professional IT certification landscape. Knowledge or conceptual understanding of Emerging Technologies like Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Data Science, IoT and Cyber Security, AI & Data Ethics would be advantageous.

 

Location:

This position is remotely based in the United States and requires travel within the North America territory to meet with clients.
